From the Mediterranean, an all-Italian quality
In the heart of Calabria, very close to the sea and at the foot of the Sila mountains, we have been making since 1993 a unique and precious type of sweet, of which the essence says it all about the quality of Made in Italy.
Concentrated flavours are the result of a lengthy production process which brings together a meticulous selection of raw materials from rigorously controlled origins and including no GMO elements, with a very careful selection of business partners and suppliers.
This is a gift created by the commitment of the more than thirty employees who contribute by their work every day to the sweetening of peoples’ lives and producing a yearly amount of over 2000 tonnes of sweets which makes their mission to be respected – both for people and for the environment.
Taking great care of every detail we have two production lines, one using starch moulding and the other extrusion. Also we autonomously supply 60% of the company’s energy requirement, which is another factor helping us to produce such high quality confectionery.

Sold and distributed around the world, Silagum sweets perfectly amalgamate the authenticity and values of our country with the dedication of a company which respects natural rhythms of production. In fact from preparation through to despatch nothing is left to chance – everything is controlled and checked to ensure respect of the international standards BRC and IFS.
In addition to the passion we put into our work, all our products are also certified BIO-VEGAN and DOP. This is further proof of the constant search for excellence which distinguishes us. This is an essential requisite to be able to offer our consumers an exceptional product from a high end manufacturing process.
